Links between Type 2 Diabetes and vitamin D deficiency study

Health supplement pioneer BetterYou are currently recruiting patients to find out more about the links between Type 2 Diabetes and vitamin D deficiency.

Patient numbers are limited to 40 and places will be allocated on first come first serve basis.

What you will get:

  • 2 x Vitamin D tests
  • Vitamin D supplements for 2 months

Your participation:

You will be required to test your vitamin D level using a home test kit (which will be provided). If the results show that your vitamin D level is below the recommended level then you will be provided with 2 months supply of vitamin D supplements.

At the end of the 2 months you will be required to check your vitamin D levels again and provide feedback.

To qualify you must:

  • Not currently be using vitamin D supplements
  • Currently hold at least one of the symptoms associated with vitamin D deficiency, including poor immune system, depression, SAD, joint pain, lack of energy, lethargy and/or headaches.

BetterYou are also interested in hearing from participants from ‘At risk groups’ such as pregnant women, over 65’s and people suffering from darker skin pigmentation.
