Diabetes type: Type 2

“I had been type 2 for 12/13 years and when I went onto insulin I knew I had to make a change. I went onto the Diabetes Forum and I thought the Low Carb Program looked really good, so I gave it a go! Doing the program helped me achieve stable blood glucose levels, plus I probably lost about a kilo. I didn’t find it difficult to give up carbs - there are loads of things I can have instead. I still have some carbs, but much lower than what I used to. It’s about having a balance and sticking to something you can live by.”
