One present which may send some strong hints to family and friends this Christmas is a Nintendo Wii Fit, which as well as being loads of fun has been shown to have anti-diabetic benefits.
A recent German study found that people with type 2 diabetes who play Wii Fit-based activity games for just 30 minutes a day can reduce their weight and improve control of their blood sugar levels.
