How often is a newsletter sent?

Newsletters are sent twice a week - usually on a Tuesday and Thursday. Occasionally, we may send out a newsletter when there are diabetes breakthroughs, NHS advice, medication withdrawals or new competitions which don't fall on a Tuesday or Thursday.

How do I stop receiving the emails?

Simply press the Unsubscribe link in your email and you'll be removed from the email list. This can take 48 hours and is handled by Communicator, our email providers.

I have an AOL, Yahoo! or Hotmail account and don't seem to receive the email?

These email providers have anti-spam filters that sometimes take out emails from new senders. For this reason, you may have to add out email address to your Safe Senders List. This ensures that our email gets through to you.

You should also check your Spam or Junk Folders to make sure our email doesn't end up there.

Do I have to pay anything for the newsletter email?

No. All parts of Diabetes.co.uk are free to use.

Is my email address ever used by third-parties or for advertising?

No way! We only use your email to send you our Diabetes Newsletters. Your emails are never sold or given to any other parties. Read our Privacy Policy for more information.

When should I get my first email?

You should receive your first email within 2 weeks of signing up. If you don't receive the newsletter within that time, please let us know here.

I can't see images or text in the newsletter?

This can happen if your email reader can't handle HTML. If this happens to you, simply click the 'View online' link on the email to see it as it was designed to be viewed.

I've changed my email address?

If you've changed your email address, simply enter your email address in the box above and sign-up for the newsletter again.

I have another question?

If you have another question not listed here, please contact us and we'll do our best to answer it.
