Terms and Conditions

  1. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over and resident in the UK.
  2. Entrants give their explicit consent for the Promoter to process information on their medical condition and frequency of testing so that it can ensure that this promotion and any subsequent promotions are targeted at the appropriate audience.
  3. Employees and relatives of the Ascencia Diabetes Care group are not eligible to enter.
  4. Entry to the prize draw can be made through the entry form on the Diabetes.co.uk Ascensia Diabetes Care promotion page and no payment is required for entry.
  5. This is a monthly prize draw starting from 1 January 2016 and ending on 31 December 2016. 50 winners will be awarded with 50 prizes each month, with the winners being chosen by random selection. To be eligible for the 50 prizes to be awarded in any particular month, an entry must be received by the last working day of the month in question. For example, entries for the January 2016 draw should have been received by 11.59pm on 31 January 2016.
  6. Only one entry per person is permitted during the entry period stated in clause 5 (1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016). Entrants who have participated in a prize draw for the CONTOUR NEXT USB meter through Diabetes Digital media or any other Ascencia campaign will not be eligible to participate in a Ascencia Diabetes Care prize draw for further CONTOUR NEXT USB meters within a 18 month period.
  7. Winners will be drawn within the first 10 days of each month. The winners will be notified by e-mail at the address submitted by them on the entry form within 15 days of the winners being chosen. Meters will be sent within 28 days of the winners being chosen.
  8. Entries must not be sent via agencies or third parties. Any such entries are invalid.
  9. Ascencia Diabetes Care does not accept any liability for technical failures of any kind including internet failures which may occur in the administration of entries.
  10. For a winners' list, send a stamped addressed envelope to Free Meter Prize Draw at Ascencia Diabetes Care. Please note that personal data in respect of winners will only be released with the explicit consent of the winners and in cases of such consent not being available Ascensia Diabetes Care reserves the right to anonymise the list or take any other measures it considers necessary to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.
  11. No correspondence will be entered into with respect to this prize draw.
  12. Each winner will receive a CONTOUR NEXT USB blood glucose meter.
  13. No entries will be returned.
  14. There will be no alternative prizes to the CONTOUR NEXT USB meters.
  15. By entering this promotion, participants are agreeing to abide by these rules, which shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
