Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of skimmed milk
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple juice
- 1/2 cup of quick oats
- 2 tablespoons of sweetened dried cranberries
- 1/2 small apple, cored, peeled and chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
- Artificial sweetener
Recipe
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, the apple juice, the oats, the cranberries, the chopped apple, and the cinnamon.
- Bring to the boil.
- Cover the pan and reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Simmer until oatmeal is desired consistency, and stir.
- Stir in artificial sweetener.
