Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of skimmed milk
  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened apple juice
  • 1/2 cup of quick oats
  • 2 tablespoons of sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/2 small apple, cored, peeled and chopped
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Artificial sweetener

Recipe

  • In a small saucepan, combine the milk, the apple juice, the oats, the cranberries, the chopped apple, and the cinnamon.
  • Bring to the boil.
  • Cover the pan and reduce the heat to medium-low.
  • Simmer until oatmeal is desired consistency, and stir.
  • Stir in artificial sweetener.
