Ingredients
To make Chorizo and Bean Special, you'll need:
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil 
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped 
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced 
  • 50g chorizo sausage 
  • 700ml passata 
  • 410g tin cannellini beans, drained 
  • 250g cabbage, chopped 
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Method

  • Pour the olive oil into a large frying pan and place over a medium heat. 
  • When the oil is hot, sauté the onions for 3-4 minutes, or until softened. 
  • Put in the garlic and chorizo and cook for a further 3 minutes, ensuring that it’s cooked through (it should look a bit brown and crispy). 
  • Mix in the passata, cannellini beans and cabbage. 
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper and simmer for 4 minutes. 
  • The meal is now ready to serve and enjoy!
