To make Seven-Minute Frosting, you'll need:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp light corn syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

  • Combine the egg whites water sugar corn syrup and cream of tartar in the top half of a double boiler
  • Set over simmering water and immediately begin beating with an electric mixer on high speed for 7 minutes.
