Ingredients
To make Sticky Chicken, you'll need:
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 6 chicken thighs
FOR THE MARINADE: - 3 tbsp. light soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. agave nectar
- Juice of a lemon
- 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. ginger, finely chopped
- 3 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
Method
- Pop the soy sauce, agave nectar, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, allspice and chilli into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Slit the chicken and fill with marinade.
- Cover the chicken with cling film and put in the fridge overnight.
- Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 6 or 200°C.
- Then, place the chicken in a roasting tin. Pour on any remaining marinade and roast the chicken in the oven for 40 minutes.
- The chicken will be ready when it's sticky and golden.
- Serve with a side of homemade coleslaw and enjoy!
